Ziro Butterfly Meet 2018

Ziro Butterfly Meet 2018

****
Here is a summery of my awesome experience with Isaac Kehimkar sir (The Butterfly Man of India) as the resource person and the entire butterfly enthusiast team. The meet was hosted by Ka-ngam Homestay, Peni Village and Panyor Solyoq Society, Yazali.
The attached photo is a collage of The participants of 5th Season of Ziro Butterfly Meet organised by Ngunu Ziro at Yazali.

It was in fact a showcase of a mini India with butterfly enthusiasts from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Assam mingling with the huge crowd of local populace. The meet also saw participation from research scholars and school children beating odds for two days. More than 150 species of butterflies were recorded.

Here are few of my photographed butterfly species during the event.

White dragon tail, an awesome looking butterfly observed and photographed during ZBM
